Happy Valentines Day! ❤️

I was recently surprised to receive this memento of my TEDx Talk in the post from the organisers of TEDx MCPHS through which I gave my Talk in November.

While the Talk is titled Escaping the Hedonism Trap, it’s really a love story.

And it identifies love as the means of escaping the hedonism trap and its ensuing state of nihilism.

“Love is the antithesis of hedonism; love means putting the needs of others before personal desires and pleasure. In practice, it means serving others to meet their needs. Love is a verb, a doing word.”
